**8 week session, with classes meeting 1/week**

Tiny Tadpoles Preschool Beginner Swim Lessons 

Available for ages 3-4yr olds.

Ratio of 1 teacher with a max of 4 kids.

This welcoming class is designed for first-time swimmers who are just beginning their journey in the water. Perfect for students who are not yet comfortable putting their face in the water and are still learning to float on their front or back, this class focuses on building trust, confidence, and foundational swim skills in a safe, encouraging environment.

Class Policy & Expectations
This class is designed for children ages 3 and up. For safety and instructional reasons, parents are not permitted in the pool during class. Parents must remain on the pool deck at all times while class is in session.

To ensure a safe and productive learning environment, children must be able to sit, listen, and follow the instructor’s directions for the full 30-minute class. If a child is unable to do so, the instructor may recommend postponing participation until the child is developmentally ready.

By the end of 8 week session Child should be achieving the following: 

Swim Goals:

Blow Bubbles

Comfortable with putting face in water

Back float

Front float

Roll over

Few front/back strokes or sculling

Safety Goals:

pool tour on deck, and in water (noises, safety to go)

Safely get into water: ask permission, safety check who's watching

Grab a wall 

consequences of not listening/ water is fun but can be dangerous

climb out of pool independently

Giggling Guppies Advanced Preschool Swim Lessons 

Available for ages 3-4yr olds.

Ratio of 1 teacher with a max of 4 kids.

This upbeat and engaging class is designed for confident young swimmers who are ready to take the next step in their aquatic journey. Giggling Guppies is perfect for students who are comfortable putting their face in the water, can float independently on both their front and back, and are beginning to swim short distances on their own. This class focuses on refining technique, building endurance, and encouraging independence in a fun, supportive environment filled with games, laughter, and skill-building activities.

Class Policy & Expectations

Safely enter the water with awareness

Swim to wall and recover independently

Swift Sea Turtles Beginner Level (K- 2nd grade)

This welcoming class is designed for first-time swimmers who are just beginning their journey in the water. Perfect for students who are not yet comfortable putting their face in the water and are still learning to float on their front or back, this class focuses on building trust, confidence, and foundational swim skills in a safe, encouraging environment.

Available for two age levels (K-2nd, and 3rd +).

Ratio of 1 teacher with a max of 5 kids.

By the end of 8 week session Child should be achieving the following:

Strong Seals Beginner Level (Gr. 3 and up)

Available for ages 8 and up. 

Ratio of 1 teacher with a max of 6 kids.

Beginner Level 2 is designed for swimmers who are already comfortable in the water and ready to build on foundational skills. Students in this level should be confident floating independently on both their front and back, as well as comfortably placing their face in the water.
Throughout this class, swimmers will be introduced to rhythmic breathing and begin learning the fundamentals of basic swim strokes. The focus will be on developing proper technique, coordination, and water confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

By the end of 8 week session Child should be achieving the following:

Outstanding Otters, Advanced lessons 

Available to ages 5 and up

Ratio of 1 to 6 in class 

This class is designed for confident swimmers who can kick on their front and back, and swim both freestyle (with face in the water) and backstroke for 5 yards.

Swimmers will work on refining freestyle and backstroke, and will be introduced to both deep water and new strokes including breaststroke, and elementary backstroke. Each session includes skill development, stroke drills, and fun, engaging water activities to keep students motivated.

By the end of 8 week session Child should be achieving the following: 

Swim Goals:

Back stroke 1 length

Rhythmic breathing work

Freestyle with rhythmic breathing 1 length

Treading water for 45 seconds

Intro breaststroke

Elementary backstroke

Safety Goals:

Friend jumping on you and trying to pull you under

Super Sharks Swim Lessons 

Available to ages 5 and up

Ratio of 1 to 6 in class 

This high-energy swim class is perfect for swimmers ready to take their skills to the next level. Participants will build endurance, refine stroke technique, and practice advanced skills all while getting a great workout and having fun in the water. Each session combines focused training with engaging activities to keep swimmers motivated and moving.

Alongside skill development, the class includes essential water safety training. Swimmers will learn how to get themselves to safety, how to recognize signs of a distressed swimmer, and what to do to help safely, including how to call 911 and communicate in an emergency. This class is the perfect blend of fitness, skill-building, and real-world readiness in and around the water.

By the end of 8 week session Child should be achieving the following: 

Swim Goals:

Tread water for 2 min

Able to swim 2 lengths of pool using free and backstroke

Proper Rhythmic breathing with Freestyle

Elementary Backstroke 1 length 

Breaststroke 1 length

Daring Dolphins Swim Team Prep & Water Safety Pros

Available to ages 5 and up

Ratio of 1 to 7 in class 

Get ready to level up with Daring Dolphins: Swim Team Prep & Water Safety Pros—a fun, challenging class for confident swimmers who are ready to dive deeper into real swim skills! This group is all about building strong technique across all four competitive strokes while keeping things engaging with drills, challenges, and plenty of in-water practice.

Swimmers will work on refining freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, while also learning exciting new skills like flip turns and swim starts. Alongside stroke development, we introduce advanced water safety through games and real-life scenarios—helping kids think, react, and stay safe in and around the water.

By the end of 8 week session Child should be achieving the following:

Swim Goals:

Refined freestyle (front crawl) with side breathing

Backstroke with strong body position and rotation

Breaststroke with improved timing and coordination

Butterfly fundamentals with rhythm and dolphin kick

Flip turns and streamlined push-offs

Basic dive starts from the pool edge

Improved endurance and continuous lap swimming

Safety Goals:

Underwater searching and object retrieval

Treading water with control and confidence

Practicing complex water safety scenarios

Recognizing when someone needs help and how to respond safely

Swimming while maintaining personal safety in assist situations

Strong understanding of pool safety rules

Adult Swim Lessons 

Available to ages 18+ 

Ratio of 1 to 8 in class 

This class is designed for adults who are new to swimming or looking to build confidence in the water. Instruction will focus on essential foundational skills, including breathing techniques, floating on the front and back, and becoming comfortable and relaxed in the water.
Participants will also be introduced to basic swim strokes while learning important water safety and self-rescue skills to help keep themselves safe. Lessons are taught in a supportive, judgment-free environment, allowing swimmers to progress at their own pace while gaining confidence and independence in the water.

By the end of 8 week session you should be achieving the following: 

Swim Goals:

Floating on front and back independently 

How to breath correctly 

Intro to Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke 

Safety Goals:

Reach or throw don't go 

what to do in a water emergency 

How to remain calm and find help

Weather, Cancellation Policy

For a class to run there will be a 2 person minimum.

Cancellation Policy:
I understand that plans can change. To ensure smooth operations and fairness for all participants, I ask that all cancellations be made in accordance with the following policy:

  • Group Classes: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled class time to receive a full credit or reschedule.

  • Private Lessons: Require 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling without penalty.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full class or session fee.

 

Weather Policy:

The safety of my swimmers  is our top priority. Our weather policy is as follows:

  • Classes may be canceled or postponed due to lightning, thunder, heavy rain, or other unsafe conditions.

  • We follow the 30-minute rule: If lightning is observed or thunder is heard, all swim activities will be suspended for 30 minutes from the last instance.

  • In the event of a weather-related cancellation, we will notify participants as soon as possible via text.

  • Weather-related cancellations will be eligible for a make-up class or account credit; refunds will not be issued.

 

Refund Policy:

I strive to provide high-quality swim instruction, and my refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent:

  • Refunds are not issued for missed classes, including illness, travel, or scheduling conflicts.

  • Refunds may be issued in the case of extended illness or injury (doctor’s note required) or if a class is cancelled by the swim school and cannot be rescheduled.

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to ezwatersafety@gmail.com , and are subject to a $15 processing fee.

  • Credits may be issued instead of refunds to be used at a further date.

​Missed Class Policy
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to weather, I will make every effort to reschedule and make up all cancelled classes.
If a participant must miss a class for any reason, I am happy to work with you when advanced written notice is provided. While make-up classes cannot be guaranteed, reasonable accommodations will be considered whenever possible.
