Welcome to my Swim School
With over 15 years of experience teaching swim lessons—and more than 40 years of passion for all things water—I'm thrilled to welcome you to my swim program! Whether you're dipping your toes in for the first time or refining your technique, you've come to the right place!
Lessons take place in my beautiful backyard pool in Marshfield, MA—a private, outdoor summer oasis designed to create a relaxed, safe, and fun learning environment for swimmers of all ages.
I’m a certified lifeguard and CORI-checked, with a strong background in aquatic education. My credentials include previous roles as a Water Safety Instructor Trainer, Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, swim coach, and Masters Coach. I’ve had the privilege of working with swimmers from toddlers to adults, from beginners to competitive athletes, and even those preparing for certifications.
No matter your age or skill level, I bring patience, expertise, and a personalized approach to every lesson—helping each swimmer feel confident, capable, and excited about being in the water.
About Mrs. Liz
I'm so glad you're here!
I've been proud to call Marshfield, MA home for over 17 years, where I live with my amazing husband and three wonderful kids —who constantly remind me that patience is a superpower, and creativity is key when it comes to teaching (and parenting!).
Though I grew up all across the Midwest, Minnesota holds a special place in my heart and will always be my "home state." That's where my love for water truly began—I was swimming before I could walk and officially joined a swim team at age 8, after breezing through all 7 levels of the American Red Cross program before I turned 7. (Yes, I was that kid who practically lived in a swimsuit year-round!)
Whether it's teaching new swimmers, helping people conquer their fear of water, or just sharing my lifelong passion for all things aquatic, I truly believe learning to swim should be both empowering and fun. I tailor my lessons to each swimmer’s unique personality and learning style, drawing from years of hands-on experience—both in the pool and as a mom.
My next aquatic adventures? Water yoga and trying my hand at surfing—because there's always something new to dive into!
